Pealie's barn is a privately owned venue hidden in the countryside at the top of North Yorkshire.
Less than 5 miles from Croft race circuit and less than 10 miles from the A1 / A66 Scotch Corner junction in northern England, UK the location provides a unique experience for event goers in an area with little to no noise curfew.
Closest mainline train station is Darlington although the smaller station of Northallerton is equally close to the venue. Taxi will take about 15 mins to reach us.
Closest airport is Durham Tees Valley (MME) and is about a 20 min taxi to the location.
Further out, Newcastle and Leeds are equally around a 1 hour commute.
The location consists of various covered areas and a beautiful courtyard with a covered outdoor stage which for the purposes of our event will comfortably accommodate 300 fans of live music, but has the potential to grow to run much larger events.
The venue has hard standing throughout with a number of converted barns that are in use for the Tanking weekend although the stage courtyard is uncovered so be prepared for the weather.
Camping is easily accessible and weather permitting you will be able to pitch next to your car. We are in a location set back from main access roads so are unlikely to be troubled by nuisance, however keep all your valuables locked and safe in your vehicle.
Various food and drink vendors will be onsite for the whole weekend as well as market stalls and activities to try.
